For the low price of $7000, you can buy this reliable and immaculate 2015 VW Passat TSI Limited with only 62k miles. No accidents or problems since new. Call now and I’ll throw in a copy of Toto IV on CD and a plush Twingo.
This offer does not apply in Greenville, SC. This product is not affiliated with JKM Enterprises, LLC.

Honestly that’s not a bad price, although the seller doesn’t seem to be the most honest, since it’s a VW so of course it has problems and I know it’s been in an accident

An 06 or ‘07 Civic Si. Because a two liter that revs to 8000 rpm is made for someone who does not know what torque is.....

You can pick up a good Volvo C30 for the price, although only the 2.5 T5 was offered in the U.S. (Canada also got the mechanically simpler 2.4 non-turbo I5).

Volvo C30 or ‘78-79 Bronco. Between those two you can meet every automotive need you might have. By you I mean me, and thank you now I’m trying to figure how I stuff these two into my already full garage...

I’ve been stalking NCs for a few months on CL and I think they’ve dropped to the point you can get one that doesn’t need any TLC at that price. I starting to see the rough ones for $5k or less and ‘06-08 models with 70-90k for $7k. Still costs a little more for a more recent one or in a desirable color like bright red. Here’s one asking $7500 that appears to be in great shape. I almost checked it out but I just can’t do silver:

If I had $7k for my only car it would be a TJ. Good parts availability and easy enough to work on. Fun because roof comes off. Works fine in all the seasons we have here. Can fit 4 people reasonably well. Hauls decent amount of crap with a hitch mounted basket or small trailer. Blends in since they so common here. Dents just give it character. Only downside is shit fuel economy but I live close to work so I could live with that.

Probably the 330i then. Boxster isn’t going to cut it for a family of 3 and although hot hatches are great for what they are; a small RWD car is really where it’s at.

I’m shocked

I love the specs on both those, the OJ Bronco look (but 12ish years older) and the red with those wheels looks amazing

If you can negotiate the guy down to $7k then here’s this G35X with AWD for winter and it’s newer with Bluetooth and more. Clean title, looks clean, I don’t see why not: (btw i used my old zip code from when i lived up there so it might be a short ways off but should be worth any drive it may warrant) https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=carGurusHomePageModel&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity=d576&zip=60490#listing=240118587

At first I thought the price was a little high for a 2.5 Altima but then I saw the mileage. That’s a pretty good price for a very lightly used and mint car
![]() 06/03/2019 at 13:06 |

Absolutely second the idea for an E46 330i for your needs . $7k will get you a very nice one – perhaps even a ZHP. Prices are going up especially on the ZHPs, so this is a good time to get in while you can. TONS of DIY info out there as well and all the issues with these cars are very well documented. Was in your position last year and went this route myself.

I was trying to find Altimas in that green color, and I was stunned. Push button start, an aux port, two automatic windows, and tan leather in perfect shape? And the vintage aspect of being 12 years old?
![]() 06/03/2019 at 14:17 |
|
But is the leather heated? That’s the important question
![]() 06/03/2019 at 22:38 |
|
Yes sir. I’m so glad this isn’t a year from now, which is when I should be starting a full-time job. Otherwise, I’d really consider buying a mint condition Nissan Altima because it’s green.
